About us
   Founded in June 1999, Elite Holiday Travel Service Co. Ltd. established its headquarters in Taipei. In the same year, it became a Class-A travel agencies certified by Tourism Administration, M.O.T.C. Republic of China (Taiwan). Over more than 2 decades, Elite Holiday Travel has earned agency rights for several major airlines and built a team of dedicated professionals. With a commitment to expertizing sales and marketing, ticketing and reservation. Elite Holiday Travel ensures each customer to enjoy a premium and refined travel experience. Recognizing the growth opportunities in airlines GSA for passengers and also establing air cargo subsidary, Elite Holiday Travel began actively pursuing air cargo services in 2003 and in early 2004, established Elite Air Cargo Inc.. Currently, Elite Holiday Travel is the GSA for Kenya Airways, a leading airline with extensive flight routes across Africa and the sole PSA of Gulf Air for pax, and GSA of cargo airlines of Astral Aviation, One Air and Trans Cargo Air in Taiwan.

Brief History
1999 Elite Holiday Travel Service was founded on 01 June,1999.
2000 Appointed by Copa Airlines as the GSA Asia and Taiwan.
2003 Appointed by Kenya Airways as the GSA in Taiwan
2005 Awarded by Copa Airlines as the most outstanding GSA in its sales networks.
2007 Seabourn Express Inc was founded on January 19, 2007.
2009 Appointed by Maya Island Air from Belize as the master GSA in Asia.
2010 From 1st. July, appointed by Aero Mexico as GSA in Taiwan
2011 Appointed as GSA by AeroSvit cargo in Taiwan
2012 Appointed as GSA pax by Lot Polish Airlines in Taiwan

★7 Unique customer management: All agencies would be categorized to 4: tour group agencies, commercial account agencies, ticket consolidators and inbound agencies. They are also classified to 4 grades: A.B.C.D.


★8.Our sales teams will conduct power point presentation by USB about your airlines and its products to specific agents at sales calls on daily basis.


★9.We invite the selected and potential agents to participate in our monthly tour seminars to train agents how to tailor the tour itinerary and packages by using your airlines, what they need to know in advance, such as strategy of sales and segment of clientele…etc., in our Taipei head office. After years of continuous transplanting our tours and airlines knowledge to travel agents, they could devote themselves to developing and promoting new products to get better yields and survival! That is the reason why our supporting agents become more and more every year, in line with the steady growth of our revenues for the airlines we represent!
No others have undertaken this activity in our market place.


★10. E-Newsletters: Our diligent sales teams have accumulated nearly 10,000 of e-mail address of travel market ( 4,000 from forwarding agents) at the majored 5 largest cities, both the key-staff at regular agents and active table agents in TPE, HSU, TXG, TNN and KHH plus all secondary cities, and continue to update these data base. With these e-mail address databases, we could spread out the introductive and promotional messages or the so-called E-Newsletters about your airlines and products to the whole market within 10 minutes on bi-weekly basis and at our own costs.
No others have this kind of precious asset in Taiwan.


★11.Much more important is that we are 100% fully dedicated to airlines representation, do not have any direct sale or wholesale business so that we, neither the parent company, nor any subsidiary, will compete against any agents and supporters in our market place to avoid creating market disorders and complaints. Majority of GSAs in Taiwan got involved in the direct sale business via subsidiary, but we are one of the few GSAs, or probably the only one who does not compete against the market supporters.


★12. The entire group is composed of 2 companies: Elite Holiday Travel Service for pax GSA and Seabourn Express Inc. for cargo GSA. The group started to represent airlines since establishment.

★14. Our offices are installed with 4 GDSs, such as Amadeus, Abacus, Sabre and Galileo.


★15. Excellent profit sharing system with staff: 40% of net profit shared by staff as their year-end bonus since 1997, plus monthly bonus for sales team and quarterly bonus for indoor sales team.


★16. Different management mind set : GSA aims to provide services and hospitality with the market. We have successfully converted the mindset of airlines’ indoor ticketing and reservation staff to the concept of an indoor sales team, in a bid to provide proactive supports not only with our outdoor sales, but also prompt and accurate services with our agents for our sales team. This change of mindset has let our team work closely and play well. Our sales team is requested to go out of office for sales calls to agents from 10:00 to 17:00 every day, not to sit idly in the office for indoor works. It is very different from other GSAs or airlines, due to the acknowledgement: We are not airlines, but we are a travel agency and have to work harder as the aviation business climate is very different from the past and very competitive and risky.


★17. Good sense about impending industry risk and changing of business climate, know- how to get survived as airlines representation is not anymore a lucrative business owing to airline business is very competitive, high-risky. We adopt symbiotic win-win strategy between airlines and GSA, between staff and company.

WHY APPOINTING A GSA
 

In the competitive global aviation industry, airline companies are anxious to expand their sales distribution with less operating costs. Thus, to appoint a GSA for airlines in the territory becomes the most cost effective solution from airlines top managements’ point of view. Airlines will be ensured to gain its benefits both image and sales through closer co-operations between the two parties, the Airlines and the GSA.

The Airlines is assured to be handled by the GSA through normal practice such as: well prepared sales and marketing strategies, wide distribution channels through BSP agents, ticket consolidators and appointed wholesalers, well planned promotional and advertisement campaign through media sources to expose the Airlines’ image and products. That means the GSA won’t get business directly and should not create competition against sub-agents and market disorder.

The owned Taipei premises, at the current value of more than USD3.5 ~4.0 million, have the size of around 151-ping (equivalent to 5,410 square feet). They are centrally located in the business center of Taipei city where a number of airlines and agents/forwarders are nearby, while our newly purchased KHH branch office at the size of 2,100 square feet also located at the most busiest area of the travel agents/forwarders at Kao-Hsiung, the 2nd largest city in Taiwan!
